How do you resize a shape in such a way that it preserves its aspect ratio?

Answer
Select a shape by clicking it. Start resizing it by dragging the shape outline. Before yolu start resizing the shape, press and hold Shift key to lock the aspect ratio so that the shape won't be distorted during resizing.
