How do you retrieve and show all rows from the table in Microsoft SQL Server database using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)?

There are two ways to do this:

Using SSMS Select Top context menu command

1. Connect to SQL Server instance using SSMS
2. In Object Explorer, go to the selected Database, expand its node
3. Go to the selected table
4. Right click its node, click Select Top 1000 Rows
5. New query window will be opened with pregenerated query
6. Remove TOP 1000 from the query
7. Execute the query using button Execute

1. Connect to SQL Server instance using SSMS
2. In Object Explorer, go to the selected Database, expand its node
3. Click New Query
4. Enter the query to the query window: SELECT * FROM tablename
5. Execute the query using button Execute
